Set Designer

Violet takes place in the 1960s, in a greyhound bus, across the American South. The young protagonist Violet goes on a pilgrimage to find a televangelist who she believes will cure her of the facial scar she received from an axe, and make her beautiful. On this journey of self discovery, she meets new people and falls in love and she learns that she is complete and her beauty has always been there. The Design is to pay tribute to Violets upbringing, capturing the farm she group up on but also the imagery of the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina.
